Located in Miami's historic Morningside at Biscayne Blvd and north of 1 -95.

In Motion Dance Center was voted Miami's Best Dance Center by the New Times. Offering Students outstanding professional instruction in dance, In Motion nurtures artistic development at all levels - from beginner to professional, children to adults.



  • ADULT BEGINNING FLAMENCO / SPANISH DANCE -
    note: Pending enrollment
    A traditional flamenco class! Express your passion, creativity, and imagination. Take a flamenco class! Our dance classes are taught in a fun and friendly way to experience the power of flamenco.
  • ADULT BEGINNING JAZZ with Marie Bandres -
    Wednesday evenings at 6:30pm
    A jazz style class with center warmup and technique exercises, additional floor stretch and conditioning. Diagonal work for turns, jumps and jazz style linking steps. A dance combination is taught at the end of class towards the level of each class.
  • BALLET / STRETCH THERAPY with DeAnn Petruschke -
    Tuesdays & Thursdays @ 9:30am - 10:30am
    A traditional ballet class with complete barre and an emphasizes on strengthening the center and stretching.



    DECEMBER 2010 | IMDC HOLIDAY PERFORMANCE
    IMPAC Holiday performance will take place the 5th of December at the Colony Theatre in Miami Beach, FL. More details to come as date approaches.

    AUGUST 2010 | IMDC PERFORMS AT BLOOMINGDALES
    IMDC dancers performed August 12th. at Miami's Aventura Mall's Bloomingdales to promote the laungh of a new clothing line. Congratulations to our dancers on a stellar performance!

    AUGUST 2010 | IMDC OPEN HOUSE AUGUST 4th
    IMDC will be hosting an open house for all prospective students and parents on August 4th. Please call the studio for more information at 305-751-2229.

    MAY 2010 | DANCE TEAM AUDITIONS
    IMDC is looking for dancers with passion, discipline, stage presence, courage, flexibility, and strong physique for its 2010-2011 dance teams. The auditions will be held at the studio May 15th for ages 12 -18, and May 22nd for ages 3 -11.     DEC 2009 | IN MOTION EXPANDS IT'S NAME
    In the coming future, In Motion will be expanding it's program to include classes in theater, and voice & singing to name a few. In order to compliment this exciting expansion, In Motion will soon change it's name to In Motion Performing Arts Center (IMPAC)! Check back soon for more details about this exciting endeavor!

    DEC 2009 | IMDC DANCERS PERFORMED AT ART BASEL
    (Dec. 3-5 )Our very talented In Motion dancers were invited to perform at some of the many exclusive Art Basel satellite events around town during Art Basel's 2009 Miami invasion! The dancers performed phenomenal choreography by our highly acclaimed resident staff, Marie Bandres at The Delano, The Shore Club, Mondrian, & Eden Roc hotels.

    NOV 2009 | TREMAINE DANCE COMPETITION WEEKEND COMPLETE
    (Nov. 13-15 )Our very talented In Motion dance teams ventured once again to the Tremaine Dance Competitions in Orlando, and it is no surprise that reports are confirming that the dancers sweeped the competition with a series of 1st place results in various categories!     JAN 2009 | STUDIO SPACE AVAILABLE FOR RENT
    As a result of In Motion's expansion, more studio space is available for dance companies, commercials, video, rehearsal etc.. In Motion is currently accepting requests to book studio space ! Please contact the studio for rates, date and time availability.
