Offering Students outstanding professional instruction in dance, In Motion nurtures artistic development at all levels - from beginner to professional, children to adults. ADULT BEGINNING FLAMENCO / SPANISH DANCE - Wednesday mornings at 9:30am A traditional flamenco class! Express your passion, creativity, and imagination. Take a flamenco class! Our dance classes are taught in a fun and friendly way to experience the power of flamenco. ADULT BEGINNING JAZZ with Marie Bandres - Wednesday evenings at 6:30pm A jazz style class with center warmup and technique exercises, additional floor stretch and conditioning. Diagonal work for turns, jumps and jazz style linking steps. A dance combination is taught at the end of class towards the level of each class. BALLET / STRETCH THERAPY with DeAnn Petruschke - Tuesdays & Thursdays @ 9:30am and Fridays @ 6:30pm A traditional ballet class with complete barre and an emphasizes on strengthening the center and stretching. FEB 5th 2010 | SUPERBOWL BENEFIT In Motion Dance Center dancers will be performing at the "Celebs against Pros" flag football half time show at Peacock Park in Coconut Grove on Saturday, February 5th at 12pm. JAN 2010 | IMDC OFFERS DONATION CLASS FOR HAITI RELIEF In order to support the ongoing relief efforts for the tragedy in Haiti, IMDC will be offerring a class by donation on the first Friday of every month. DEC 2009 | HOLIDAY STUDIO CLOSURE (Dec. 17, 2009- Jan.3, 2010) In Motion will be closing the studio for the winter break. There will be no childrens classes effective December 17th, 2009 - January 3rd, 2010. Adult classes will continue until Saturday, Dec. 19th. ALL CLASSES RESUME January 4th, 2010. DEC 2009 | IN MOTION EXPANDS IT'S NAME In the coming future, In Motion will be expanding it's program to include classes in theater, and voice & singing to name a few. DEC 2009 | IMDC DANCERS PERFORMED AT ART BASEL (Dec. 3-5 )Our very talented In Motion dancers were invited to perform at some of the many exclusive Art Basel satellite events around town during Art Basel's 2009 Miami invasion! The dancers performed phenomenal choreography by our highly acclaimed resident staff, Marie Bandres at The Delano, The Shore Club, Mondrian, & Eden Roc hotels. NOV 2009 | TREMAINE DANCE COMPETITION WEEKEND COMPLETE (Nov. 13-15 )Our very talented In Motion dance teams ventured once again to the Tremaine Dance Competitions in Orlando, and it is no surprise that reports are confirming that the dancers sweeped the competition with a series of 1st place results in various categories!
