JUN 2010 | SUMMER CAMP 2010 IMDC is preparing for the summer season. In Motion will launch it's yearly summer dance camp for 2010 starting June 14th - August 13th. from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. The cost will be $195 per week and the 8 week session includes dance instruction(ballet, jazz, tap, hip hop, flamenco, lyrical/contemporary, musical theatre), art, dance history, stretch/strengthen, drama and much more! There will be more information available as the summer season approaches. FEB 2010 | SUPERBOWL BENEFIT In Motion Dance Center dancers will be performing at the "Celebs against Pros" flag football half time show at Peacock Park in Coconut Grove on Saturday, February 5th at 12pm. JAN 2010 | IMDC OFFERS DONATION CLASS FOR HAITI RELIEF In order to support the ongoing relief efforts for the tragedy in Haiti, IMDC will be offerring a class by donation on the first Friday of every month. JAN 2010 | COMPETITIVE DANCE TEAM DANCE AUDITION IMDC teams are specifically designed and geared to cater to the more serious student who is interested in practicing their craft through community performances as well as regional and national level competitions. Auditions will be held at In Motion Dance studio in January. Please be early and be prepared to stretch on your own. The audition will consist of learning a jazz and lyrical combination.. DEC 2009 | IMDC HOLIDAY PERFORMANCE DVD Our Holiday Performance took place on Sunday, December 13th, 2009 at the Colony Theatre, 1020 Lincoln Road, Miami Beach. DEC 2009 | IMDC DANCERS PERFORMED AT ART BASEL (Dec. 3-5 )Our very talented In Motion dancers were invited to perform at some of the many exclusive Art Basel satellite events around town during Art Basel's 2009 Miami invasion! The dancers performed phenomenal choreography by our highly acclaimed resident staff, Marie Bandres at The Delano, The Shore Club, Mondrian, & Eden Roc hotels. AUG 2009 | IMDC STUDENTS ACCEPTED TO NEW WORLD SCHOOL OF THE ARTS & KROP SR. HIGH FOR FALL '10 Congrats to IMDC students who auditioned and were chosen to attend the prestigious New World School of the Arts and Krop Senior High. NOV 2009 | TREMAINE DANCE COMPETITION RESULTS The In Motion Dance teams have just successfully completed another round of Tremaine Dance competitions over the weekend of Novermber 13th - 15th, 2009 in Orlando, Fl! They have brought home awards for performances choreographed by our highly talented resident staff: Marie Bandres and Loui Pacheco. In addition, dancer Jacoby Pruitt has won a full year scholarship with Tremaine Dance and Isabella Mahmoud was a scholarship finalist!!
