JUN 2010 | SUMMER CAMP 2010 IMDC completed another successful summer camp for 2010. In Motion held another successful, yearly summer dance camp for 2010 during the weeks of June 14th - August 13th. The 8 week session included dance instruction(ballet, jazz, tap, hip hop, flamenco, lyrical/contemporary, musical theatre), art, dance history, stretch/strengthen, drama and much more! We would like to thank our campers & parent for all their effort and support. We look forward to next year's summer camp! FEB 2010 | SUPERBOWL BENEFIT In Motion Dance Center dancers will be performing at the "Celebs against Pros" flag football half time show at Peacock Park in Coconut Grove on Saturday, February 5th at 12pm. JAN 2010 | COMPETITIVE DANCE TEAM DANCE AUDITION IMDC teams are specifically designed and geared to cater to the more serious student who is interested in practicing their craft through community performances as well as regional and national level competitions. Auditions will be held at In Motion Dance studio in January. Please be early and be prepared to stretch on your own. The audition will consist of learning a jazz and lyrical combination.. DEC 2009 | IMDC DANCERS PERFORMED AT ART BASEL (Dec. 3-5 )Our very talented In Motion dancers were invited to perform at some of the many exclusive Art Basel satellite events around town during Art Basel's 2009 Miami invasion! The dancers performed phenomenal choreography by our highly acclaimed resident staff, Marie Bandres at The Delano, The Shore Club, Mondrian, & Eden Roc hotels. AUG 2009 | IMDC STUDENTS ACCEPTED TO NEW WORLD SCHOOL OF THE ARTS & KROP SR. HIGH FOR FALL '10 Congrats to IMDC students who auditioned and were chosen to attend the prestigious New World School of the Arts and Krop Senior High. APRIL 2010 | ADRENALINE DANCE COMPETITION RESULTS Samantha Fabrikant, Sofia Gonzalez, and Olivia Kramer competed at the Adrenaline Dance competition and convention in Ft Lauderdale, FL. Ten year old, Olivia Kramer received a Platinum medal and 1st overall high score in the jr. soloist division. Olivia also was awarded the only full scholarship to attend next season. Nine year old, Sofia Gonzalez received a Platinum medal and 2nd overall high score in the jr. soloist division. Samantha Fabrikant received a High Gold for her Solo. They have brought home awards for performances choreographed by our highly talented resident staff: Marie Bandres and Loui Pacheco. In addition, dancer Jacoby Pruitt has won a full year scholarship with Tremaine Dance and Isabella Mahmoud was a scholarship finalist!!
